In Darkest England

Q I’m doing some research on Salvation Army printing in the late 19th century, and trying to determine the name of the artist who illustrated William Booth’s Darkest England poster in the cover of the 1890 edition of the book.

It was printed at the Salvation Army's Clerkenwell printer, but I cannot locate a name. Failing that could anyone suggest other illustrators whose styles are in a similar vein?
